The people of Paleolands are some of the most interesting and inspirational people Dave and I (the owners) have ever met. We felt it was appropriate to set aside a section in this website to share our unique stories and relationships (with everyone’s permission of course) to help you understand what makes this “real” for us. As indicated in the About Us section of this website, Dave and I left our posh lifestyle to pursue our dreams of moving back to the country to have a family and reconnect with a community. Our dreams have become not only a reality, but an adventure. We recognize that we have become a part of history, in that we carry on a very important role of ensuring Service Creek continues to thrive and be a place that the community frequents to chat over a fresh cup of coffee and homemade pie. We bring the community together and that says a lot considering the fact that we are not sure where our nearest neighbor is.
The following is designed to showcase the stories of those who have impacted our lives. They are the ones who have reached out to welcome and support us. They are kindered spirits everyone should meet. As we continue to meet new friends, we will do our best to update this page (time permitting) to share with you what makes this place “home” for us. In the interim, we’ll start at the beginning.
